What's included in the tour price?
All our tours include professional guide services, comfortable transportation throughout Yellowstone, park entrance fees, bottled water, and snacks. Lunch is included on full-day tours. We also provide binoculars and field guides for wildlife viewing.
What should I bring on the tour?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing (weather can change quickly), sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and your camera. In cooler months, bring a warm jacket. Don't forget any personal medications you might need.
How much walking is involved?
Most of our tours involve short, easy walks on paved or boardwalk trails to viewing areas. Total walking distance is typically 2-3 miles throughout the day, broken into short segments. We can accommodate various mobility levels and adjust the itinerary accordingly.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. Full refunds are available for cancellations made 7 days or more before your tour date. Cancellations within 7 days receive a 50% refund. We don't charge anything for rescheduling due to weather or park closures.
Where do the tours depart from?
Our tours depart from multiple convenient locations including Gardiner, West Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole. We can also arrange pickups from most hotels and lodges in these gateway communities. Specific meeting points are confirmed upon booking.
Will we definitely see wildlife?
While we can't guarantee specific wildlife sightings as animals are wild and unpredictable, our guides know the best viewing areas and times. Most tours see bison, elk, and various bird species. Bears, wolves, and other animals are frequently spotted but less predictable.
Can children join the tours?
Absolutely! We welcome families and children of all ages. Our guides are experienced in making tours engaging for young visitors. We provide car seats for small children upon request. Children under 5 years old tour for free.

Our main tour season runs from May through October when most of Yellowstone's roads are open. We offer limited winter tours December through March for snowshoeing and wildlife viewing. Contact us for off-season availability.
